TO CALCULATE THE DATE OF GREEK EASTER (Movable date)
|
Easter should be celebrated the Sunday after the full moon of the vernal equinox, and after the Jewish Passover has been celebrated. Never celebrated before or with the Jewish Passover. The Roman Catholics or Protestants do not follow this last instruction, thus the difference in the celebration of Easter between the Greek Eastern Orthodox Easter. If the Jewish Passover has not been celebrated in the first full moon of the vernal equinox, we have to wait for the second moon.
