PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY
|
Virgin Mary's parents were Joachim and Anna. After the age of three, she was brought to the Temple where she remained until she was 15. At that time all the children who were dedicated to the Temple were taken by the holy men to the Temple to be educated. She was presented to God's holy temple on November 21st and then returned to her home.
Shortly after her return to her home, the Archangel Gabriel who told her that she would soon become the Mother of God visited her. |
