Motorsport Manager – Endurance Series Reset Key
Another thing to consider is that our ladder system is designed to accomodate a wide variety of groups, including RR3 teams. The ladder is open to everyone from amateurs to pros, and it is possible to open up the ladder to any group you want it to accomodate. The ladder isnt designed to accomodate just one group. With that said, the general rule is that ladder races are amateurs only. Your MM team should be your primary team in the ladder system, and all other teams in the ladder system will be RR3 teams. As such, it is possible that your team is not being accomodated in the ladder system. Why isnt your MM team being accomodated? You must make this clear in a written communication to your team manager, who is also your team champion. Whether your team is being accomodated is something you need to resolve with your manager.
This doesnt mean that your team is not going to be able to run a ladder race. As already mentioned, you must make it clear to your team manager that you want a ladder race without the RR3 teams. If you get that communication, your ladder race should be able to move forward.
Just so we are clear on this, you must accomodate ladder races by informing your team manager of your decision to do that. If they dont get a vote in your decision, you might as well not inform them. Do keep in mind that ladder races are not open to all teams, and ladder tournaments are expensive to sponsor, so its going to require additional communication with your team manager.
You can download the latest version of the software, unzip and plug-in the USB drive, and hit ‘wizard’; if all that fails, you can select the Firmware Manager option, and restart. You should see the new settings, then reboot (or restart) the watch. When the watch boots, you should see the firmware have been updated. If not, it may have been overwritten – there’s nothing you can do. YMMV.
Just a clarification, I meant simuator race as I’m running a specific lap in this race each week. And do not worry about the code addition for the 70th lap, I believe that the change can be implemented later, And another thing (if we’re to implement the fix of the counter resetting, which I think is very important) it is important that the lap counter doesn’t start before the lap was completed, as you may start the race and when the race finishes you counter will reset to the initial lap, and the race results will be reset. Cheers :)
Just to follow up, I have tried resetting the counter to the last completed lap, and it works. One thing I’ve noticed is that when I go back and try another “Simulator Race” the lap counter resets to the beginning.
the endurance series reset key is a unique key that will reset the current season. for example, if the current season is race 1, when you hit the key the current season resets to race 1 again. if you want to start a new season, delete the current key.
the default config key will be set for the config manager if there is none. this is the key that will be used for the config manager on a new install. if you want to set the default config key, go to the autosport site and click on the “edit my profile” link. you’ll then be taken to the config manager. click on the “configure my profile” link and select the default config key from the drop down menu. this key will then be used for the config manager on a new install.
