two new maps are being developed. one, the escape zone, is a variant of the normal map, where the player must push zombies out of the house. the other, a collector’s edition map that was being developed by team meat, is a giant level based around a pack of zombies that will attempt to steal seeds and other rare items. westbrook stated that the team’s reasoning for developing the collector’s edition level was because westberg and brackman had been developing a game called gunny, which used a collectible card game mechanic; they therefore decided to make a collectible card game level. westbrook was pleased with how the level turned out, and stated that a collector’s edition level was coming to plants vs. zombies!
